URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 43 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 255 AM CDT Sat Mar 15 2025 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of East-Central into Southeast and East Texas * Effective this Saturday morning from 255 AM until 1000 AM CDT. * Primary threats include... Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2.5 inches in diameter possible Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible A tornado or two possible SUMMARY...Widely scattered to scattered storms are forecast to continue to develop and intensify overnight into the morning across the Watch area. The stronger storms will be supercells capable of a large-hail and damaging-wind risk. A tornado cannot be ruled out as storms approach the Sabine River during the morning. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 75 statute miles north and south of a line from 55 miles west southwest of College Station TX to 50 miles east southeast of Longview TX.
